Housing for Oven splintered - Can I use ePoxy?

I need to replace my oven and have pulled it out to look at the 'frame' that holds it.

The screws that held the oven in had come loose and on inspection I can see the chipboard has splintered around where the holes are (see below).

Whats the best thing to fills the holes.

The chipboard panels obv take some heat based on the heat marks on the door panels and on the edging tape around the top.

Would it be safe to use an ePoxy resin to fill them? Is it heat resistant enough?

Deeper screws? Matchsticks? Replace frame?

Unsure about glue not melting , my oven has done a cracking job of melting my plastic bin which is next to it
 
yeah - its why I was wondering about epoxy, as some will bond with metal, thought it might be a bit more heat resistant.
 
doesn't your oven stand on an extra-thick shelf, so the screws are only to hold it steady?

Yes it does. If the screws are not secure then when you pull open the oven door, the oven sort of tilts forward a bit.
 
What size is your oven housing? is it finished in white laminate?
 
OK, so it's an undercounter housing.

Is it white laminate? Or the cheaper vinyl film?

Not sure tbh. It looks like chipboard with edging tape around it.

My original plan was to fill the holes with ePoxy (if it was safe to do so) so the mounting screws would hold, then get some edging tape to replace the stained edges.
 
I take it back. I thought I could find a cheap new oven housing, but I can't.
