How can a March for Peace be Incompatible with a Memorial for those Killed in Wars.

What good can come of these marches? Millions on policing. Huge disruption and Isreal won’t be listening to the protests. Probably time to call it before we end up with a riot.

Awareness. Without these protestors, media and news organisations turn a blind eye, and the people don't see what it happening.

This chap perfectly explains the "counter marches" too.

There was about a 100 -200 right wing thugs most of them ended up kettled in a pub - the media have focused on them as if there were 10,000.

Hardly a mention of those on the march who caused trouble. Shooting fire works at police officers.

We should have a pause to let the dust settle.

@JP_ a bit mean to interview someone who is clearly a bit special. Either that or he’s stoned.

Cruella has been given a job to do, and not an easy one, basically a poisoned chalice. Read the news Notch, how many countries in your beloved EU aren't following her lead or even leading the way, even Germany is saying enough is enough. France and Germany have placed blanket bans on pro palestine marches.
Not a poisoned chalice. She is simply pushing to be party leader. Challenging Sunak to sack her and make it an obvious challenge.
Strange how you follow those that make the most noise.

Another curious aspect of this Palestine/Israel affair is the growth of support for Israel from the far right .
Traditionally the far right has been anti Jewish but these days it seems the right wingers have been queuing up to profess their love for Israel.

I have not seen any media report that talks about 10,000

they are talking about 200

It’s awful how thousands of Jewish people were out on the marches…..they must’ve been inciting hatred right?

I'm not so sure, I don't thing the far right attendance in London today had anything to do with support for Israel.

What surprises me is comparing today to the 70's and 80's when Israel had global support and sympathy, having spent years repelling various arab invasions and defending their homeland. Obviously their West Bank settlements in the intervening years has not helped.

He wasn't stoned, he was 'special', and an absolute gift to the press.
It could be a set up, the same tactic was used to discredit UKIP.
The BBC and other media organisations would search out idiots and oddballs which exist in all political parties, they would use their interviews with them to give the impression that these people were the rule rather than the exception in their party.
They did the same with Corbyn.
