Hi guys,

I have just installed brick slips in my home and I am looking for the right mortar mix/ratio between sand, lime, cement/ White cement and water (or pigment colour) to achieve the desired colour below please, in addition to achieving strongly bonded mortar. Below is the colour, its a sandstone/buff warm sand look. Looking to achieve a similar colour so I can fill the 10mm gaps in my brick slips.

Below I have attached the colour and pictures of a brick slipped wall with the colour mortared in it.

Many thanks in advance.

a few tests with various aggregates and lime.
it looks a common shade so will be easy enough to copy.
There are companies that will match up a given colour and then supply the required dry mix

Do a few test batches with local sand and cement you may not need any colouring.Your three examples are all different.
