How can I fix bent kitchen worktop?

Is that overflow connected?
I can see worktop edge through the slots, so obviously not. I would guess moisture has got through those slots to the worktop and caused either the worktop or what ever supports it to deteriorate.
New worktop with correct sink installation.
Sorry but what sort of cowboy installed that? Overflow draining straight into ... thin air?

Perhaps. How old are the worktops? Also, is that a straight joint just behind the sink? Is this a corner install by any chance?
Assuming that the worktop is laminated chipboard, how could the (laminate) edge be visible in the round sink cut out. Surely it must be something else that is visible?
Initially I agreed with you but I think that it is just gunk- which looks a bit like the worktop. I think the overflow is still connected. If it is not the screw will be loose.
I am only guessing, but I suspect that the back is unsupported. The OP might be able to screw some vertical supports (the sink will prevent the fixing of a horizontal baton.

Come on the OP needs to help out a bit more, empty out the cupboard under the sink, lie on your back if necessary and get your head under the back of the sink with a torch and see what, if anything is supporting the back of the worktop, confirm there's nothing connected to the waste, take a photo from further away, take some photos looking under the sink at the underside of the worktop ....
