Looks like you're in Australia.
IIRC you usually have a 3-phase or split-phase supply for big cookers, is that right?
Your connection block looks like it can take single phase or 3-phase wiring, and your supply cable looks to be a (very large) T&E single-phase cable. What's the voltage? Did it previously connect to another large electric cooker?
When you undo the screws, is there a large, loose washer underneath, shaped to trap and clamp the core of the cable under it? When pushed in from the "trough" down the middle?
I think your connection block should have markings by the terminals, and a hinge-up lid, and a cord retaining clamp. Is it second-hand? And do you have the instructions?
There seems to be one brass connector missing.

I would use something like this
or if in the out back of beyond I would form a terminal from the wire.
That's a serious looking cable!
Can you trace the wire back to a fused spur, then replace with 10mm?
If not then try connecting the cable to a 10mm cable through a 30A junction box.

It's hardly likely to require 10mm² cable.
No, the bottom right is Earth.
How do you know what size cable that is in the photo? It seems to be 7 strands, but could just be 4mm. The 'flexible conduit' end, needs to go into some sort of adaptor, to take the strain off the terminals.
not for a cooker supply it isn't.
So if you order 10, you will receive 10 of separate pieces 1m long - that's handy, NOT!
