How to cut roof tile on dormer cheek.

Could someone kindly explain how this is done.

The cheeks have been battened but i can't work out how to do a nice cut that fits snug to the roof.

Any help appreciated.

Sorry maybe i didn't word it correctly.

When you cut the dormer cheek tile how do you get the correct cut position on the tile so the tiles line up and look neat?

u can either measure down from each top corner down onto the main roof or when u sit the tile in the position take a piece of tile batten and lie it up the roof against the tile this will let you mark the angle on the tile u can then use that line as a guide
