How to install a Gas Hob (Ed.)

Hi looking at new gas hob.
Looking at the does and donts.
5cm away from wall ,is that before tiling or after as mine would be 4.5 cm since tiling.
The underneath allowing for thickness or hob and pipe work and then chopping the base units around to accommodate the thickness but how when worktops start at 12mm

Google is always good. Look for real reviews. There are alot of fake reviews and alot of shisters out there so be sure to get someone who is Gas safe registered..
