Hi all,

We have a couple of cold bedrooms, the top half a metre of the walls have only plasterboard and lath and plaster between them and our cold loft. I can't work out how to insulate this section.
Access is poor, lines are not straight, roof structure complicates things, diagram attached,

Any ideas or solutions appreciated.

Thank you, Stephen

Could you post 600mm of Kingspan through and fix/prop it against the back of the wall?
Thanks for the idea - the access is really difficult - too small to get your head in between the ceiling joist and a purlin for much of it, and the inner wall is the back of an old lath and plaster wall with lots of bits of roof structure, lintels and other bits and bobs interfering, so it would be tricky to get any decent coverage with rigid board.

See if you can get hold of some loose cavity fill or beads - the stuff they blow in and funnel it in. You'd need quite a bit though. Or see if a company would do it for you.
