So my new bath is in, and I've given myself the job of tiling the bathroom. It's an acrylic L-shaped shower bath, one wall is newly plastered and the other (where the shower will be mounted) is a stud wall with Hardiebacker board:

I'm using flat matt white metro-style ceramic tiles, 200 x 100mm.

I'm using flat matt white metro-style ceramic tiles, 200 x 100mm.
Thinking of proceeding as follows:
- Prime the plaster wall with BAL SBR bonding and priming agent - https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod8763/bal-bond-sbr-primer-1ltr.html
- Tape joins in the Hardiebacker with glass fibre tape and tile adhesive (as recommended in the HB installation guide)
- Tape the corner where the walls meet in the same way
- Install the tiles with BAL Green Star ready mixed adhesive: https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod2927/bal-green-star-15kg.html
- Grout with BAL Micromax2 gunmetal - https://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod44007/bal-micromax2-gunmetal-25kg.html
- Silicone round the bath edge
Thanks
