love my goretex army surplus coat and would not be replaceable easily at least.
i had been keeping my clothing in an extended headliner i made in my van which i sadly underestimated how wet it would get up there. have now improved conditions fingerscrossed but in that time this coat developed some mould. it seems to just be on the inside as far as i can see which is advantageous to avoid damaging outer layer perhaps but i guess whatever used will easily soak trough. vinegar popular choce i read but also advised against for goreyex. any suggestions?
