Small tin of acropol will do it, put some fiberglass mat in for a better job/strength. Make sure its clean first. Any mastic might work for a while.

Come on his gutters leaking ..may as well burn the place down.
Can be done without a naked flame. Pretty common in France .not so here though
i have used CT1 on cast-iron and a replacement tin gutter , back in 1997 - we moved out in 2017 and it was still fine - but that was an overlap join
