how to secure shower screen hinge

hi, Ive had this glass shower screen a couple of years, the top hinge works loose though.
it seems like the screw holes should be at the top.

What do you think about drilling one near the top of the bracket ?
its quite close to the tile edge to drill through though ?

or I wonder if theres some sort. of glue that might be strong enough ?
