Why is motorbiking pretending that avoiding tax is not tax avoidance?

It's not tax avoidance, though. It's a tax saving. Albeit one that only a very few people will ever be able to take advantage of.

If its a legal reason to avoid paying, then you can call it what you want

It works the same for any export of anything. I don't know why boats are special, unless we just need to know they are expensive and he has one.

It's the ability to avoid both UK VAT and also import VAT in the EU country. I think so, anyway!

actually this topic came about because people were asking about Brexit benefits.

they are special because they are mobile and can be moved under their own power.
