Hybrid roof

Hi folks,am I right in saying the only difference between a cold roof and hybrid roof is just the positioning of the insulation.also could you use dpm for the roof membrane or has it got to be breathable?

Roof underlay does not need to be breathable, provided the roof is properly ventilated .
