Hi. I've got quite a useful loft space that makes quite a good workshop. The problem is that as most lofts do, it gets very hot up there in the summer time. The roof is not insulated which I'm sure would make a big difference however I can't afford to do that.
I'm thinking about whether I could rig up a some 4 in flexible tubing and inline pumps (I've got mains in the loft) to pump hottest air from the top of the loft out via the eaves and maybe pump in replacement air from the eaves on the other side.
Anyone done anything like this before or got any constructive feedback on this idea?
Cheers

It won't work
The sun will heat the roof quicker than you can pump the heat out

Even ac unit would struggle , have fully insulated loft and mines around 33 degree.

Ok thanks guys. Sounds like it's a non-starter.
May look into insulating between rafters in future though.
Cheers
