Hi all woke up today and noticed there was a pool of water underneath the boiler.

Not this again we had a cracked sump changed 18 months ago

Right just took the cover off and i can't see any hairline cracks around the sump any ideas?

You can see where the waters dripping out the condensate trap?

From your photos,it seems the sump clean out cover is missing (n).

Best call in a gas safe registered person (y)

It looks to me like that drain connections is way out of line.

Nozzle

Very common on sump to main heat exchanger also check no condense back up from condense pipe. Just call Ideal and they will sort it out

I'd rather not call ideal they will charge a fortune,I'd rather call out somebody local once i know what the problem is.

For the cost of a new Ideal just Change it like for like, no pipework /flue changes. And you get a 7 year warranty only £600 in plumbcentre not ideal but cheaper in long run

The fecking pipe isn’t in straight or the syphon isn’t in right to the hose underneath.
That sump is fine.
Ps you are going to die as you have interfered with combustion and are not gas safe registered.
