Hi everyone,
I have just tried to install Hive to my CH system and that didn't go well,
I have got Ideal Logic Heat 12, Danfoss TP9000 Si, Danfoss TP5000 Si and small remote room temp sensor in the hall. The heating is twin zone heating + hot water cylinder. When I replaced Danfoss TP9000 Si with Hive's receiver like for like the water pump was continuously on, central heating continuously on although receiver showed CH and HW off. I didn't hear valves being operating. Also, I saw 'C' code on the boiler (central heating demand) display. What I have done is below:
1. Disconnected zone 2 Danfoss TP5000 SI thermostat - left cables disconnected
2. Replaced like for like Danfoss TP9000 Si with Hive Receiver
3. Disconnected small room temp sensor in the hall - left cables disconnected
Attached are files of all devices in the current heating system.
The existing main thermostat has got only HW and CH 'on' cables connected + 3 cables for each 'N' and 'L'. Sockets 5 and 6 are cables to small remote room temp sensor in the hall.
From the Hive perspective, I paired thermostat, hub and radiators valves so all set.
I attached all revelant photos and Range hot water cylinder wiring manual which I believe they followed during installation.
I am not sure where should I start troubleshooting this as never worked with CH systems. If you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
