Evening all.
I’m in the process of working on the end of our garden. I’ve put a shed base down, new shed and new fences.
Unfortunately our elderly neighbour at the rear has cut down her large willow tree which we both relied on for privacy. I appreciate it is her tree but it would have been nice if she had mentioned it before she did it.
Anyway, we are looking to find a solution.
There is little room behind the shed to plant a tree. Also, I have started to lay a patio area at the end of the garden in the middle - so we are limited on what and where we can plant. I also do not want the roots damaging the patio or shed base.
I’m wondering if something like black bamboo may grow in the space behind the shed?
Can anyone suggest any trees that grow with a thin trunk but give good foliage coverage (and ideally with roots that are not too invasive)
Some photos are attached. A before, after and one to show the space behind the shed.
Thanks
