Hi guys, 1st post, hope you can help.
My indesit integrated dishwasher has had a bit of blockage issues I reckon. Whenever it is switched on a long tone comes on with the no. 1 led highlighted. It then freezes and won't let me do anything.
I noticed a lot of water that hadn't drained so set about plunging and getting rid of the water. Overnight it had all drained and when I set the program it actually worked for about 5 seconds! Back to square one now. Any thoughts? X

It could be the anti-flood senor float that is jammed.

Brilliant! Not to sound too thick but where would I find that and what does it look like?

Put the machine on its side unscrew the 4x screws from the base plate.
Here you will find the anti-flood switch with the polystyrene float, just check it 'switches' correctly and put back together.
