Installed composite doors are these "spacers" required to stay in?

Hi everyone,

I installed a composite doors yesterday and wasn't sure if these grey spacers are meant to stay on the inside of the frame?

Wasn't sure if they are meant to stay there or be removed?

I do not know but I suspect that they were initially used to protect the door in transit.

For the benefit of the OP. @ronniecabers was one of the people that I hoped would reply. This kind of stuff is what he does for a living. I was too hungover to remember to drop his name into my previous reply...
