Instant hot water taps vs. Combi Boiler

Hi all,

I wanted to get your thoughts on a couple of options for a small flat in a mid-terraced house. We currently have an old electric immersion heater and were looking to update. We have no gas supply and currently the heater supplies hot water to three sets of taps (kitchen, bathroom sink and bath), the shower is electric, and all rooms are heated by electric radiators. We are getting rid of the bath so will only have two sets of taps connected to a boiler (unless the shower is reconnected) so the options we have feel like:

Option 1: Replace the immersion with an electric combi (possibly reconnect the shower)
Option 2: Remove the immersion and add some instant hot water taps.

Any advice on what option seems more reasonable and what to look out for would be greatly appreciated.

Forget both options 1&2 ,and leave as is.

The old immersion takes up way too much space in the small flat and means the window in the kitchen can only open to about 60 degrees. It'll be going it's just deciding on what replaces it.

How far apart are the kitchen and basin taps? If they are close enough, a small 10 or 15 litre undersink unvented water heater could supply both.

Likely to need a pressure reducing valve and small expansion vessel but all should fit in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.

Thanks for the single unit point, in length of pipe to connect they're about 6m apart.
