Insulating Kitchen Units

Hi,

I have noticed that there is a draught coming from behind our kitchen that is situated against an external wall. I have filled any gaps around pipes externally etc, however I think it must be coming from above. I'm thinking that the best solution would be to use expanding foam to block off the gap between the rear of the kitchen units and the wall, however there are cables, water pipes and a gas pipe in the way. The kitchen is probably around 3-4 metres long, so will be looking to expanding foam the length between the bottom of the units and the wall, as well as the gaps between plasterboard and brick (which I assume is where cables/pipes are run).

I have read online that No Nonsense Expanding Foam is safe to use around cabling, however is this the case? Is there a better solution to block the draught?

I have attached some photos of the gaps as seen behind drawers/cupboards, and also from behind the kickboard. The blue highlighted areas are where I would be looking to fill. Ignore the plastic dust sheet - this was a test to see if it helped stop the draught!

Figure I'd try a less permanent solution before foaming everywhere.
