Hi All

I am in process of building a summer house / mancave; it is constructured out of 6x2 treated timber (pent roof and floor joists) and 4x2 stud work. I have insulated with 80mm celotex between wall studs and 100mm between floor and ceiling joists. On the outside I have lined with 11mm OSB and stapled breather membrane to it.

Before I put the plasterboard up I have read conflicting advice around whether I should staple a vapor control barrier to the studs and joists.

Can anyone advise on best way to do this, I don’t want to do this incorrectly and cause the timbers to rot.

Thanks

Stops moisture migrating to the cold osb condensing and rotting.
