Yes I know it is not DIY, but a little fun never hurt anyone.

Subject: Beer Maths

Be sure you don't read the bottom until you have worked it out!

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go for a beer (try for more than one but less than 10)
2. Multiply this number by 2 (Just to be bold)
3. Add 5. (For Friday night)
4. Multiply it by 50 (Being a bit stupid)
5. I'll wait while you get the calculator.....
6. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1754... If you haven't, add 1753.....
7. Now subtract the four digits of the year you were born (If you can remember that far back)
8. You should now have a three digit number
9. The first digit of this was your original number (i.e. how many times you want to go for a beer each week)
10. The next two numbers are your age.
IMPRESSIVE ISN'T IT?
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2004) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO PASS IT ON WHILE IT LASTS.

This is the only year that will work, because in 2005 you will have to replace 1754 and 1753 with 1755 and 1754 respectively! What's more, this trick discriminates against centenarians as it doesn't work if you are 100 or older

Now, if you had been able to tell me which beer I wanted to drink, and whether in a straight or dimpled glass, that would be impressive!

Mmmmmm, beeeer... Where did I leave that fridge?
