Hi,
Took some doors off to paint recently, and also fitting some new hinges.
I've hung the door but the top corner is sticking out slightly and not sitting flush with the door.
Here are a few pictures.
Top Hinge:
Bottom hinge:
Other side of door:
It's not totally clear from these, but there is a bigger gap next to the top hinge than there is at the bottom. Both hinges are totally flush to the door on the door itself.
I had to chisel the frame to make the new hinges fit.
How do I fix this? Or at least get the door a touch more flush?
Am I right in thinking I need to chisel a bit more away from the top hinge?
The frame seems quite level, but is about 120 years old so may have shifted a touch over the years.
