Hi, is anyone able to tell me if it is possible to make the front of this house brick please?

If so, what would the process be called and if anyone has any budget range estimates that would also be great.

Thank you

Years ago, a neighbour of my mums had that done to his house. They rendered the wall and stuck these 10mm thick real brick sections onto it then pointed them. You couldn’t distinguish between them and real bricks. Don’t know what it’s called or what it costs though, sorry.

Cladding. All the rage during the 80's

But whatever you do, don't bridge the damp course like many installers did.

Thank you all for your responses. The proposed option seems to be adding something on top.

Is there perhaps a way to strip the current finishing and restore the bricks?

I am not even sure if the whole facade is brick but looking at the neighbours house, the red one on the left it looks like there are bricks there.

A few years ago I saw someone SDS chisel the pebbledash of the front of their house.
It was a row of terraces, some had been pebbledashed, some not.

The exposed bricks were damaged. I think the dash tore the faces from a lot of them during removal.

Enough for it to look so bad, it got rendered.

The existing brick won't be restore-able

You'll need to have the render hacked off and then brick slips stuck on with adhesive.

House near us has the render falling off in chunks for the last 3 years, looks a real eye sore. Repaint it, it may look super once finished.
