Yes!

But you have to weigh up the ceiling price for properties in that area/ estate/ street.

You also need to consider whether eg an extension or loft conversion would add enough for you to get your money back and more.

True, it is a bit of a minefield property development, in most cases the only decent money to be made is by adding extra room.

It's something I may do this year if I have the guts.
By my nature I would want to do everything to a good standard but the one who really make money just do a tosh up.


I think certain areas have more of a market for this sort of thing
