I am looking to fit lino on a concrete kitchen floor, is there any that offers more insulation, or should I go for the basic stuff, I am planning to move within 5-10 years.
Without knowing if the floor is insulated, doubt there is much you can put down that offers more insulation. If you could bring the floor height up, you could add insulation on top, then float a floor on top, like wood, but I suspect you may feel it's not worth the effort...
My 50's house has concrete in the kitchen and utility room (80's)
I have thick cushion floor from Carpetright over a latex compound.
Previously there were cork tiles over a mix of bare concrete and old original plastic tiles.
From memory the cork wasn't "cold" cold in winter, the current floor is probably warmer.
I wear slippers - always.
