Is OK to have this junction box on the floor?

I just looked under my cooker and the installers left a junction box to what I assume is the cooler lying on the concrete floor. Is this safe? It says 30amp 3 terminal on it.

Likely not a problem, however the cable should be retained so it can't pull on the terminals and typically that type does not clamp the cable, what should have been done is a double cooker connection unit fitted, which is attached to the wall, and does have cable clamps.

Not sure on rules in England, but in Wales where I live you should be issued with either a minor works certificate or and installation certificate and a completion or compliance certificate. The latter I think not required in England?

They are required for notifiable work the same in England and Wales.

Obviously much more frequently so in Wales because of the greater amount of notifiable types of work.

It's a bit shoddy, they could have used a maintenance free junction box such as a Hager Click here - it's not easy to get at is it?

As above. There is no strain relief for cables on that type of junction box. The box should be screwed to something solid and the cables clipped to prevent them being pulled out.
Or the box replaced with something suitable.
