i am doing a Gantt chart for an upcoming project, and i want 24hr working with 2x shifts.

day shift 06:00 - 18:00
night shift 18:00-06:00

whatever i'm doing just doesn't seem to work,

ive tried this

but keeps reverting to this:

i've created a new caleneder based on 24hr working

the days works ok, but the night shift i just cant get to work right.

anyone with any tips

me neither thus far.

unfortunately for me, the client wants a minimum 21 day scope done in 10 days, only way to achieve that is round the clock working,

Maybe you could bodge it by having two workgroups, called "shift 1" and "shift 2" working concurrently, but possibly with dependencies

this is what i've currently done, its screwing up the duration though, its correct according to the timeline, but for some reason the duration says 8.33, although the tasks only total 4 days as shown in the timeline

changing it to concurrent doesnt seem to have helped either

started a fresh.

something i done on the other one was screwing it up. still cant do the shifts but will bodge it as you suggested
