Is there now a limit on the number of Firefox bookmarks?

After a recent update to version 109.0 (64-bit) of Firefox I find that I can't save more than 9 bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar, or more than 9 in 'Other bookmarks' also. Is this a new feature to encourage users to pay a subscription? Anyone else experienced this? Any way round the limits?

just added this thread to my recently added bookmark as number 10
i know i am on windows 11 but not sure what firefox version as i dont know where to look

I'm on the same version of FF, and I have 13 bookmarks in my bookmark bar, and I added a new one to test without issue.

Perhaps the bookmarks are being hidden behind a chevron?
