Hi all

Really could do with some advise on whether dry verge is installed correctly. My concern arose when all the verges on the property look very different from each other, maybe to accommodate existing guttering/fascia. I've uploaded some images to help.

Thank you

The only one that looks slightly odd to me is the short run under the solar panels; I figure they're slightly tipped because the tiles are cut a bit shorter than on the main gable and the verge has been matched to the slope of the tile whereas on the gable the verge sits more on a peak of the tile. One of the consequences of using wavy tiles; they're a lot less forgiving for some things

Thanks for your input, I'm having all the caps refitted to improve aesthetic. My other concern is the lead work around the dry verge caps on gable ends with chimney stacks on them. I can't find any examples of dry verge used on gables with chimney stacks. I have posted pics of this. I will be getting roofer to redo lead work to sufficiently cover dry verge caps, but am starting to worry that my roofers recommendation of dry verge on gables with chimney stacks was a bad call and that mortar may have been the better option.

I found this picture pal. I just think they have done it lazy or sloppy with their lead work

The verge caps and lead apron are rough, can me much tidier with a bit of care.

Thanks for all your inputs, i felt the finish wasn't great. Have now decided to remove dry verge and go with mortar. Will be more in keeping with 100 year old house. Thanks again (",)
