It doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable, it’s just a song..

When at school I wanted to study history as I enjoyed it.

However I couldn't justify it as I thought it not important enough.

But it really is important isn't it?

My girls enjoys History and often talk to about it at home as a family.

To the Lefties above, should we discourage talking about or being proud of our History?

The important thing about history, is to learn from it. Good and bad.

And to try and stop the same bad things happening again. But we are not very good at it.

Why do you consider it a left or right wing thing?

Do you think we learn from history? And if items are brought up that warrant history memories, are they not just common sense? Or automatically a lefty agenda?

Happy to be different.

But I'm not a lefty, regardless of whether its a good thing or not.

A balanced view is better than a 1 sided view. Every subject has 2 sides, not always right or wrong, but subjective to opinion

Slaves to the monarch. it means. i.e. its a cry for democracy and changes against the king's rule.

You don't have to be black to be a slave.

Getting back to your question. Don't you think we as a country have learned alot from history, and in particular about slavery?

Let's for a moment forget about the slavery in the Middle east (Inc Qatar )

Who do you believe is behind the slavery in this country in 2024.

Let's include people smuggling in this.

Do you believe its right wing white British born citizens of the UK who are behind the majority of the slave trade in modern Britain ?

I dont think for one minute any British government since ive been born has every imported slaves.

Did you support the World Cup in Qatar? Did you oppose my views on our knee benders boycotting the world cup?
