It must be pure hell for them….

Should be done according to fair rules though.

Low marks for:

- pipe bending
- fascination with heavily-polluting and unnecessarily-noisy 'murcan hunks of carp
- European familial ties
- poor grasp of written English

After all, this is not Dire es Stan ;) :D
Yeah if only we had a system where people could have these skills scored and ranked and get a visa if they scored over a certain amount… oh wait.. we do

All we need now is a competent government to implement it. Reckon the Tories have settled on a leader yet, now that they are ridding themselves of harmful lying Brexers?

They're lining Sir Kier up for a crack at the trough. He's as 'Labour' as Tony Blair.

I liked Cameron and BJ, and Tony Blair, they all had charisma. I can't see much difference between Labour and conservatives any more. Conservatives like to grasp defeat from victory. They need a shake up. Starmer will be too scared of his own shadow to do anything, as long as we aren't heading for war, that approach will suit me fine. My favourite governments are weak ones or better still coalitions.

All governments are incompetent, so the less they do, the happier I am.

My vote wont count as I live in a strong conservative seat. I care much less than you pretend to. I'm more interested in getting Sadiq Khan out than worrying about Starmer getting in.

I get the impression that Starmer is very much holding back, possibly due to him leading a party which can rip itself apart on even the most simple & basic of subjects. Maybe he'll wake up & start to make some noise when it gets closer to an election???

How does the increase if occupancy increase? the fire risk that is. My guess is there is a fire risk because people don't want to be there.

Yes fire is very bad on boats. That is because:
1- they are made of very flammable materials
2- hold a lot of fuel
3- have limited means of escape if you are at see and sink quickly

Is this a boat in the same sense? I think from an insurance point of view is classed as a pontoon.
You are putting your own bigotry on the FireFighters Union's report.
The report was concerned about escape from a fire. It was not about any perceived risk of fires starting.
Read the report! And stop making up your own interpretation of what you hope they said,
"The union is concerned about a potential lack of ingress and exit points; narrow corridors and doorways; and increased occupancy."

Furthermore the government want to exclude such accomodation from HMO licences.
"The FBU has already criticised the government’s plans to exempt asylum seeker accommodation from requirements for an HMO license."

Is the true answer. They came here, convinced that the streets of London were 'paved with gold', and expected they would instantly be given a piece of it.
Your bigotry is based on motorbiking's fanstasy view of what he he thinks was in the report.
