Found this on the interwebby:
Take a breath or two.
Put the Van into reverse.
Do a 3 point turn
Drive the long way round.
And just put it down to one of those days.
It's not worth worrying about.
...plus a length of gaffer tapeTake a breath or two.
Put the van into reverse.
Do a 3 point turn.
Reverse back into bridge.
Damage sorted.
We've got a bridge/crossing combo near us - clearance for the bridge is 5'6" - definitely one to duck under!I've been under this bridge, even in a car I still ducked when I went under it. Maddening thing is, there is a slip road along side it which bypasses the bridge, though it does cross the rail tracks.
That's Stonea in the Cambridgeshire fens, I assume?I've been under this bridge, even in a car I still ducked when I went under it. Maddening thing is, there is a slip road along side it which bypasses the bridge, though it does cross the rail tracks.
Yes. Went under it a while back while visiting friends. Only reason we went under it was due to a diversion. 2 miles from their house the road was shut, and several other crossings over the river were also shut. Ended up traveling through a couple of counties doing 40 a odd mile/1 hour detour to get to the house. That's Stonea in the Cambridgeshire fens, I assume?
