The pages on the forum are jumping, jerky and slowish when loading
Is this just my PC or is it a common problem? It started when the "new" forum came into use.

it's the bloody flash adverts.

Best way around it is to DISABLE the hardware scrolling in Firefox.

Interesting, have you dismissed the orange notice at the top? (right hand side of the notice, a little cross)

Is this the cross you're click on? It should just disappear. What options are you getting?

Yes. But it is not always there. The options did not appear this time.
However clicking it has not improved the page jerk problem

The options given are "Ad covers this page" or "Report this ad."
Clicking on the options does not improve matters.

The problem seems to resolve when all the ads on the page have displayed, but this means waiting after every page change

The whole thing is just taking too long. If I click on the 'thank' or 'like' buttons, it takes a good ten seconds before it returns to the post.
When the forum first changed, it was fine for me and I was impressed with how well the change over had gone but over the past week or so it has got slower and slower for me.

Re my previous post, is it possible yet to disable the ****ter & farcebook links as I don't wish to share with anyone. ;)
