Keeping e mail address when leaving AOL

hi,
As title suggests I am leaving AOL for various reasons but have 5 @aol.com email addresses which I would like to keep. Is this possible as AOL rep said no but this is just a bit of pressure to make me stay I believe.
If it is can someone tell me how, if not then I'll have to start getting new business cards and van rewritten.

Many thanks. With an Internet speed of 0.2mbps it was taking to long to find an answer with aol help.
 
As far as I know anyone can have and use an aol email address.

BUT if you have been paying for any kind of aol service then it may be somehow they try to restrict you.

But if not paying then I don't see why you actually need to do anything at all?
