I have a loft conversion underway, should I have kingspan across the whole roof between the rafters, or as my builder has said, will there be gaps where the electric lighting comes down?

Thanks, yes spotlights, so seems to be an ongoing issue having googled also, but guess it's the case that the the insulation definitely needs to be there?

You can get covers for the spot lights.

Should be a continued cover of insulation. Air tight sealed.
You can get condensation around the lights with the cold plasterboard if no insulation.
Thing is, for builders knowing spots are going in they just leave gaps for try them.
