Kinked braided hose on bath tap - should I be worried

Hi.

Just had some repair a small leak I had on a bathroom tap - it's an awkward spot so got someone out to do it. Apparently, the washer was gone.

They have fixed the leak but I have just managed to have a proper look, and it seems like they have kinked the braided hose.

Should I be worried about this - is this a problem waiting to happen? I can tell from the sound that the water is restricted a little. I understand that it's an awkward spot, but it doesn't seem right to me and don't want to take the risk.

Edit: The photos taken from outside the bath - the one that was fixed is the far (cold) tap - not the closest one you can see.

I'm surprised the tap even works with the hose like that. That will fail in time being under stress like that. Needs sorted ASAP.

Where was the leak from? Why was it necessary to disturb the pipe to the tap?

That's the point, "apparently". If water was dripping from the tap outlet, why disconnect the pipe, let alone make such a pig's ear of replacing it? But assuming it's the original flexi and it wasn't kinked before, it shouldn't be difficult to refit it without a serious kink. Just make sure the flexi doesn't turn as the nut is tightened.

It's not a wind up - flow was restricted but was running. Anyway, it's been sorted now with a new flexi pipe.

It was the flexi itself that was leaking, not the tap - we only discovered it due to a water mark on the ceiling below.

No. I haven't paid.
