Bought a kitchen hinge holes jig, put it against my kitchen cupboard doors and there a few mm difference. See pic.

Now I don't know if the job is wrong or not. The doors close and look perfect on my kitchen.

Anyone know why this jig is out. Surely this jig isn't wrong. Bought of Amazon which has good reviews.

The Jig is correct for a 35mm bit.

Concealed Hinges, you have Blum, Hettich, Hafele, Grass Tiomos, to name but a few, they all come as 110 degree hinge and with other variations, but are all manufactured with different adjustment and setting tolerances. Then...

Most kitchen doors are 597 for a 600 cabinet, but some are 594 for a 600 cabinet.

Depending on the hinge and the size of the door will depend on whether the centering point for the drill bit is 21.5 to 24.5 or anywhere in between.

So whilst the Jig may have raving reviews, it's not a one size fits all, which is why I don't own one.

The misses bought the hinges from Amazon. I'm about to install them tonight but now I'm worried Incase I drill the holes on the wrong place and mess it up.

Any tips on how to get it perfect with this jig and hinges?

Distance to edge of door can vary from around 4-6mm so will be fine .

Hinge has a few mm tolerance in all directions.

What do you recommend to set the holes in the door at and in the base unit from top and bottom. I have the other measurements here left and right.
