How about take race out of it? And stick to facts. Police numbers have declined, did so under Theresa May if I remember right. Their budget was slashed. Then remember that lots of social cuts were made, youth clubs, youth support, benefit cuts, more people on the poverty line, then mix all this into a pot stewing over a few years then you end up with social problems and crime.

The government is the one to blame. Not some bloke who happens to be the mayor of London.
