.....and half of the cabinet members have seen their housing targets reduce.

Apparently Angela Raynor has scrapped the urban uplift target where existing cities received a higher proportion of the housing target.

Funny how labour areas seem to have benefitted so much though....

need some context really
what are the overall targets
where the tory area target being boosted to match the labour areas for example

60% of the population want to live on 30% of the land. If only we could make the other 70% more attractive.

lol Payback time for the brexxers shafting the economy. Seriously there’s more green belt/land available in rural torey areas so no coincidence the nimbys are uncomfortable. You voted to take back control so accept the democratic decision of the supreme uk parliament

Indeed, but how?
There are many brownfield sites and so called grey belt land that are unattractive to developers in terms of returns on investment but would attract urban dwellers if built out including social housing.

HS2 land that was compulsorily purchased. The Gov owns it. And, it's not only 30m wide for trains. Whole farms were bought up in central England. Build on them!

thanks
is that area based targets??
the whole off england ??
or multiple parts off the uk ??
