Latex or Fibre Reinforced Self Leveling Compound

Hi,

I have a fairly even concrete floor (about 120 sq meter) but has some damage to it at places where the top chippings have come off in a couple of places (about 20mm deep), but in total this damaged area is just about 2 sq meter in the whole floor.

anyhow I am planing on ordering slc but want to know what is there difference between the various types of SLC types.

Cement based
Latex based
and
Fibre reinforced

My current plan is to clean the floor as much as I can with vacume then with water, let it dry and then apply a coat of sbr and apply the fibre reinforced slc using a spike brush - working in a small 10sq meter area at a time.
btw concrete does not have a moisture problem.

Will I get a better (stronger) result using a latex compound instead?

Use a water mix if possible. Stronger and easier to put down as flow better.
1 unit will do 5m2 at 3mm
Don't use a PVA what ever you do.
Use a floor primer the same manufacturer as the screed if possible
You will need about 24-26 units of screed I'd say.

Fibre reinforced water mixed SLC it is then.
But why so much price difference? B&Q have 20kg bag of NX range (3-50mm) for £12 but I have seen similar product in other brands for as much as £21 per bag?

Does it make a difference?

I've used nearly all screeds on the market.
Some cheap ones don't give as good as finish as the dear ones.
I buy off flooring supplies to the trade but great screeds at lower price
Uzin NC150
Ardex K11 or K39
Fball stopgap 300
TA adhesives do a few decent ones
Level Flex. Fibre water mix

Really confused after a full power wash of the floor. Spend good 2 hrs pressure washing and the concrete does not look too strong, with a bit of pressure the top layer seems to chip away quite easily and also the water seems to disappear (soaked in I guess), I was expecting it to settle on top and having to broom it off. Well I did had to use the broom but only on the puddles.

Will a SLC do or does this needs a new layer of (65-100mm) concrete screed?

For me it needs a grind 1st to take off old paint and loose gear
Then a couple of coats of primer.
Does the floor have a DPM
