If the tube has gone I'd rather remove it, that's easy except I don't know how to redo the valve.
You dont need a tool to do it , screwing a metal valve cap on it, lube it and pull through with a good pair of pliers or gripsThey use a tool, which screws onto the tubeless valve, to tug it into place.
One of these little fellas has served me well for the last 30 years:
