Lawrence Fox is a total loser

He's lost today in the libel case against him, for calling two people paedophiles.

The judge threw out his counter claim. She said that being called a racist didn't cause him serious harm.
 
Just another attention seeking lying RWR bellend. The world has its share unfortunately - Trump, Forrige, Fox et al. Liars and losers.

I hadn't read about this but see the headlines. Nice you can't just go round calling people Pedophiles. He really is digging himself a bigger hole. But he's right being called a racist is just as harmful. It really has screwed his life up.

That is what he claims. The judge disagreed.

Mrs Justice Collins Rice said: "I have insufficient evidence that it is to any material degree the tweets sued on, rather than Mr Fox's chosen and sustained presentation as someone who sets out consciously to challenge public opinion on racism in the UK, including as expressed politically through his leadership of the Reclaim Party and through his choices about the tone and register of his public utterances, that materially account for his current profile and reputation in relation to racism among supporters and critics alike."

He was bound to lose with comments like that, there doesn't seem to be trial by jury for libel cases now. Wonder what it cost him or if he was crowd funded.

AFAIK he didn't even attempt to justify or defend his words. He was purely relying on his counterclaim about being called a racist.

And he's right. I haven't heard him say anything racist. But then again I don't hang around with him.

But he does keep digging when he needs to stop.

To paraphrase the judge, he's not suffering because two people called him a racist on twitter. He's suffering because of what he says and who he associates with. He has aggressively positioned himself as someone critical of the UK population's stance on race and equality.

Free speech but not consequence free speech.
