I've been reading around the topic of laying reclaimed parquet flooring, but nothing recent so hoping for more up to date information.
I have approximately 100m2 of reclaimed parquet flooring to lay, just in the process of cleaning the backs off as much of the old bitumen as I can. My question is which is the best adhesive to use for reclaimed parquet with potentially some bitumen remaining fitted to modern chipboard (probably moisture resistant). I intend to lightly sand the chipboard to give some adhesion. Unfortunately I don't have the height to overlay with ply.
Questions are:
1. Should I use a primer?
2. Which adhesive? I've read of Lecol 5500 and Fball B91 and B92 - are these still available? or are there alternatives?
Thanks in advance....
