There is a leak at the top of our kitchen window. Water tends to come through when the rain is heavy and it’s windy and it is now causing a damp patch.
Where do we start - in trying to find the issue?
There is another window above it.
Images of inside and out.
The leak was there before the drain pipes.

Chances are it is running down in the cavity wall I would start looking at the seal around the upper window and the apex above it.
Not an easy one to give a straight answer on I'm afraid.

That’s what I suspected. What should I look out for (Cracks / gaps that allows the water in I presume?)
It’s tricky to get to as the garden slopes (quite steep) down in front of that side of the house.
If we make sure to reapply a suitable filler / sealant as a starting point and see how it goes?

have a look at the window above -see if there are cracks or gaps around the cill in the corners

the pic of the leak inside indicates the water is getting in around the lintel

I suppose it could be getting in at the head of the kitchen window -dripping in around the head -maybe pull off that internal plastic trim and see if there is evidence of a water staining indicating a leak path
