Leaking toilet waste pipe query

Hi folks,

So I've got a leaking waste pipe from the rubber seal of my bathroom. The house is only 5yrs old and was built by somebody that didn't seem to care on a lot of detail (bit housing company, I'll skip my rant but it involves faulty heating installations, radiators not plumbed correctly, electrical wiring at fault, the list goes on) but this one seems odd to me.

The leak is from the rubber soil pipe push-fitting:

Drips and starting to cause a stain on the lino below it so I need to do something about it.
The toilet pan is screwed into the floor, is it that it's not lined up quite right/has settled and caused it do you think?

Best course of action? I'm wondering if a bit of silicone to bodge it for now and then later on get a new fitting, would that be a standard piece? I've been searching screwfix and can't see the same piece of pipe that I'm suspecting I need to replace:

Is that the right part that I'd end up having to replace, does it push into the rear soil pipe that goes outside as that also looks like a rubber seal?

As Tel. said - plus it's got a bigger gap@ the bottom than @ the top. That's your weak point . Change it for a Multikwik ( they have a website) an all flexible one . Never have liked those rigid ones. All flexible as in made of soft plastic. Same as Mac alpine one ;)

Pan is screwed to the floor, it check it’s not got movement in it. Also change your pan connector as per Terry and Nige. As a very temporary fix, you may be able to turn the connector so the leaking bit is at the top.
 
The link for floplast is indeed one brand of pan connector that's suitable .
The flexible one that Nigel refers to is the type made wholly from rubber ,not the flexible ,extendable ,type with spiral metal inside thin plastic outer . At least I think that's what he suggested!!
 
Job done. Apart from being a slightly unpleasant job it went well, and great suggestion @Madrab on the better quality fitting, it fits better and the curved plastic edges finish it much nicer.

When I took the old one off, I found the bodgers hallmarks, stuffed full of silicone sealant! So no surprise there with the other qualities this new build house has. No leaks and looks good.

A bit typical though of a new build where the horizontal run is fitted a little too high and the waste pipe ends up almost horizontal. A lot of new build plumbers really don't really care, as long as they get the numbers in then they're happy.

My niece bought a new build last year, I went in to do some extra work and then told her she would need to get them back in as they had installed the main soil run behind their bathroom too high too and the 2 toilets connections that were fitted to it were running uphill by 2deg. OK as long as the pan connector holds, the minute it doesn't it would be a mess.

They had to pull out the whole boxed section and take out the horizontal run, cut the main stack down by 50mm and then reconnect it all again, bunch of idiots!!
