I want to replace my polycarbonate conservatory roof with a timber frame and lightweight tile roof with either 1 medium or 2 small Velux windows then insulate it with Kingpan/Celotex foil insulation boards and get it plastered inside.
It is 4m length x 2.9m width in size.
Need advice on what size rafters I would need and spacing between each rafter.
And with it being windows all the way around, it should be fine to hold the weight of this new timber frame then lightweight roof? Yes?
Also any advice on the thickness of the insulation boards and where you leave a air gap would be great as I've read a lot of mixed information.
