Leen to roof, multi-wall polycarbonate thickness advice please

Hello all

I've been building a lean too roof and was going to use 6mm toughened glass, until I saw a sheet of polycarbonate and had a reality check, due to the size, that I was not going to be able to use glass.:cautious: too big, handling etc.

Anyway, my panels will be 3m x 700mm wide, there are 7 of them, I have seen 16mm tri-wall in clear that I'm considering. Is this too thin?
I was wondering what's the normal thickness for this type of roof. 25mm multi-wall is the next step up, but I have a sample of this and it seems to cut a lot of light out.

I'm going to be using either snap down rafter bars of screw down, haven't chosen yet.

It's whatever you want really- anything from those really thin corrugated polycarbonate sheets up to ply and felt. Whatever you use, think about how you'll flash it to the wall given the structure won't be strong enough to walk on.

Was using up wood and planning on using glass, hence the 700mm widths.

Yesterday I picked up a sample of 25mm bronze... can’t believe how much light is blocked out, so it made up my mind to go 16mm clear.
 
Thanks guys, finally is Axiome worth the extra over Corotherm... there seems to be around £150 price difference on this lot.
