Hello all
I've been building a lean too roof and was going to use 6mm toughened glass, until I saw a sheet of polycarbonate and had a reality check, due to the size, that I was not going to be able to use glass. too big, handling etc.
Anyway, my panels will be 3m x 700mm wide, there are 7 of them, I have seen 16mm tri-wall in clear that I'm considering. Is this too thin?
I was wondering what's the normal thickness for this type of roof. 25mm multi-wall is the next step up, but I have a sample of this and it seems to cut a lot of light out.
I'm going to be using either snap down rafter bars of screw down, haven't chosen yet.
TIA
